Fix 'Rect::isEmpty()' and small performance fixes
Specifically, don't emit the 'valueChanged' signal
if nothing actually changed.

Remove Serializable's virtual destructor. It didn't do anything anyway.
To still make the compiler happy, add virtual destructors
to all descendants of Serializable.
